What size wind turbine system do I need?

Wind turbine system size depends on the application in which the system will be used. An average home uses about 10,000 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity per year, used in a residential application, a 5 to 15kW system would be required to make a significant contribution to the energy needs of a residential home or other small scale applications on wind turbine power. Larger scale wind turbine systems can be put into place providing that applicable space is available to allot to the use of wind turbine systems.
