Enquiry
to Installation Process
1. Call
You will be greeted by one of our
associates, who will ask you a couple of basic
questions regarding your home or business. Some
of these questions will be your roof type and
age of the roof, the total Kilowatts per hour
usage (monthly or yearly), as well as some personal
information.
Call us now at (877) HRA-NRGY, (877) 472-6749
2. Free Site Evaluation
We will schedule a date and time
with you for us to come to your home or business
to perform a site evaluation. During this visit
you will receive a packet of information regarding
the information you initially gave us over the
phone. This will show you the financial advantage
of installing a PV solar system on your property.
During the time we are there is the perfect opportunity
for you to ask any questions you may have about
the entire process from how solar works to financial
questions. The site evaluation should not take
more than 2 hours of your time.

3. Receive Proposal
You will receive a proposal in person,
by mail, or email based on the information collected
at the site evaluation. The proposal will include
the initial system design, total cost, incentives,
rebates, and tax credits. The proposal will also
show you previous PG&E cost to expected new
PG&E costs. This information will be what
you need to determine if a PV solar system is
a good investment for your home or business.
4. Sign Contract
Once you have looked over the proposal
and decided what best works for your home or business
you will then sign a contract with HRA Energy
Services. Signing will be the hardest part as
we take care of the rest: design, paperwork for
incentives, rebates, & tax credits, permitting,
construction, inspections, and PG&E interconnection.
5. Installation
Once a contract has been signed,
city permits acquired, and materials have been
obtained installation may begin. Residential installation
takes anywhere from 3 to 4 weeks and commercial
installation takes anywhere from 1 to 8 weeks,
depending on system size and complexity.
6. Municipal and PG&E Inspection
Once the PV solar system is completely
installed it will be inspected by PG&E and
the governing municipality. All scheduling will
be left to us and we will be present at all inspections,
so you don’t need to be present if you don’t
want to. Once PG&E has finished its inspection
your system will be saving you money. We will
provide you with the electrical and structural
drawing of you system to go along with all of
the owner’s manuals, warranties, and information
on how to monitor and maintain you system’s
performance.
